*The voter registration deadline for the November 6, 2012 General Election/Special Election and the December 4, 2012 General Election Runoff/Special Election Runoff is Tuesday, October 9, 2012 due to Columbus Day falling on Monday, October 8, 2012. O.C.G.A. 21-2-224 (a) “if any person whose name is not on the list of registered electors maintained by the Secretary of State under this article desires to vote at any general primary, general election, or presidential preference primary, such person shall make application as provided in this article by the close of business on the fifth Monday or, if such Monday is a legal holiday, by the close of business on the following business day prior to the date of such general primary, general election, or presidential preference primary.”
Voter Registration and Elections Office
The Gwinnett County Voter Registration and Elections Office is located at 455
Grayson Highway, Suite 200, Lawrenceville, 30046 (in the Town Center shopping
center). For more information, call 678.226.7210. The mailing address for the
office is: Gwinnett County Voter Registration and Elections, 75 Langley Drive,
Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Absentee/Advance Voting hours are from 8:00am to
5:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Voted ballots may be mailed to the Gwinnett County Elections and Voter Registration Office, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, or personally delivered by the voter to the Elections
Office located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200 in Lawrenceville.

State law requires that absentee ballots be returned by mail via the United States Postal Service or express services such as Federal Express or UPS or delivered in-person to the Elections Office. Voters are only permitted to deliver their own ballots, unless they are an attendant care provider or immediate family member of a disabled elector.
Voters may also cast their ballots in person from October 15 to November 2, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm at the Gwinnett County Elections Office, located at 455 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville.
Satellite voting locations will be open October 29 to November 2, 9:00am – 7:00pm at the Centerville Community Center in Snellville, George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center in Suwanee, Dacula Park Activity Building in Dacula and Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center in Norcross.
Saturday voting will be available at the Elections Office and satellite voting locations on October 27, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
